For all of the insomniacs out there...
Does anyone else have trouble falling asleep (especially on Sunday nights)? Well I for one do. Lately though when I find myself laying in bed tired but unable to actually fall asleep, I've tried some of the deep breathing we do in yoga and it's really worked! Even if you despise yoga as exercise, give the following a shot. It's honestly so relaxing. I promise there isn't any weird chanting involved.
Full Yogic breathing
This combines the above 2 steps in the following way:
First inhale by filling the abdomen and then CONTINUE inhaling as you expand and fill the chest. Then exhale first from the chest as it empties and falls and then CONTINUE exhaling from the abdomen as it draws inwards completely. This is one round of the full yogic breath. Repeat this for 20 rounds.

Then exhale first from the chest as it empties and falls and then CONTINUE exhaling from the abdomen as it draws inwards completely. This is one round of the full yogic breath. Repeat this for 20 rounds.
Remember the pattern… Inhaling - abdomen then chest; Exhaling – chest then abdomen.
GOLDEN RULE: All of the above steps should be done WITHOUT strain. The natural tendency is to heave with effort. The right way is to make it smooth and effortless. Go slow and easy.

Apres- Skiing
So I came across this amazing ski house the other day on Sketch 42. It's Aerin Lauder's ski chalet. Oh to have a house and call it a chalet. Pretty freaking amazing right? I could probably spend forever on that deck. Anyways, this breathtaking home had me dreaming. Not about skiing per se, which is fine for a little while, but really about the clothes that I get to wear post shredding it...ha. The Chloe bag is admittedly an unrelated addition to my apres- ski attire but I just want one so so badly and will thus be incorporating it into any outfit I can until I get one.

Fashionista Friday
Pretty much love everything about this outfit. The way too high peep toes, amaze fur and what I am hoping are leather leggings. Some may say street walker, but I'm into it.
She always looks so effortlessly cool. Really dig navy and black together, especially with the gold accent.
There is so much animal going on in this picture and I think it's fabulous. I'm pretty sure it's impossible for Olivia Palermo to look bad.

Really loving this room that features my new hand-me down rug. That light fixture, the chair, and don't even get me started on the wallpaper. TDF.
